A 2004 study undertaken by the PEW research Group in the USA showed that more than 5 million internet users watched Virtual Tours everyday in that year.
PEW's research data in a second study showed that the number of Americans watching Virtual
Tours rose from 54 million in 2004 to 72 million in 2006, a 2 year increase of 18 million or 34%.
With the massive growth of Virtual Reality and 360° cameras over the recent years it's now likely
that the figure of 5 million views per day is now a hugely conservative figure and is now likely to
be at least in the order of a magnitude bigger if not more.
